Help Local Homeless Pets and Save The Earth!
Donate your used cell phones and inkjet cartridges to the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter, Inc. (MOAS) who will receive money from Phoneraiser for each item collected during this fundraiser. "Your donation will help local homeless pets as well as help protect the enviroment by recycling these items" according to organizers of the event.According to Phoneraiser, " If not disposed of properly, cell phones are damaging to our air, soil and water:
- One cell phone can pollute up to 132,000 liters of water.
- Cell phones (and other electronic devices) contain toxic substances such as arsenic, lead, cadmium, and beryllium that can pollute the air when burned in incinerators and leach into soil and drinking water when buried in landfills."
MOAS is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, so all donations are tax deductible.

*If you are willing to donate without receiving a receipt for tax purposes and would prefer an Athens, GA drop off site, please feel free to leave your used cell phones & inkjet cartridges at Success Realty, 1069 Baxter Street, Athens, GA 30606 (across from Rainbow Seafood on Baxter Street) and we will deliver these to MOAS on May 16th, 2007.

Fish Eye one guess is that she actually met her limit of 100 and that caused the bottom portion to disappear (even though it still says there are 10 left), or there may have been an error.
